ok dah 'meningkat' jadi 3 bulan nampaknya for me to upload new hantaran picture to this blog huhu =( (hehe saja je nak bagi uols anticipate for more lalala perasanlah kan ada ke yang tertunggu2x my update tuu...ok tapi sebenarnya tgh sentap sbb ada ramai pencuri digital kat dunia maya ni...dah letak watermark beso2x pon masih selamba ambik my picture tak tau nak rasa marah ke nak rasa bangga sbb my work cantik sangatlah kot (ok this sounds lame for some, or a bit nauseatic for others muahaha masuk bakul angkat sendiri) sampai ada yang 'sudi' nak jadikan my work as their portfolio hampehs)...btw kepada yang nak 'tiru' idea for gubahan balang kuih raya uols kena tunggu keluaran majalah masa Ramadhan k, insyaallah hari khamis ni ada magazine photoshoot for that (adeh malasnya nak kemas rumah...at the moment I can't see the bottom of my working desk...huhu kena usahakan kemas arini)...magazine apa nanti I'll update once its out already. For that I am going to sell diy kit, uols can follow the step by step instruction in that magazine and buy the required material from me, so bolehlah uols discover your own creative side (^_~) and berbangga dgn hasil tangan sendiri nanti ya =)... I'm thinking of conducting kelas gubahan hantaran jugak nanti so kepada yang agak2x terlebey fussy tu boleh buat gubahan sendiri or I can train protege that I can trust untuk pass on the job  hehe so I can focus more on chocolate and cookies making plak pas ni 8D

Really sorry did not manage to capture the picture of all 6 other item because of time constraint even this picture is only taken using my handphone (belom replace my lost camera lagi masa ni and I crash my sis punya memory card masa ni miahaha sbb amek gambo sampai abes bateri huhu I always do this with my camera so far tak pernah crash kekeke pakai kamera pinjam bleh crash plak lalala migrain sekejap dahlah byk jugak gambo dlm tu uhuks)...the final sireh junjung with bunga pinang, kapur and gambir included also did not manage to snap one... I'm sorry that I will not be able to share my 'evidence" of work as much as before and give my feedback as promptly so that's why it's best if you can meet me face to face during wedding exhibition, next will be in Stadium Melawati Shah Alam on 1st - 3rd July 2011...I guess the busier I become the less update this blog will get and also the longer time you will have to wait for my feedback, please be understanding and be patient waiting otherwise you can always call me directly for a faster feedback if you have any inquiry or you are all that ready to place your order but I did not give the account no or issue Paypal invoice for you to make the payment yet...ok my follow up after that might not be prompt but your call will sure get your name into my attention and you will get my reply as soon as deem possible slightly faster than others in the backlog list (I will try to reply to all today)...ok I know my email reply is even slower than the conventional snail mail huhu =( (I should really get a pa who can keep track of my appointment cum tukang kemas rumah, jawab email, etc....huhu the storage room dah even worst than a shipwreck after bawak masuk semula brg2x dari exhibition haha need to get someone untuk kemasdah...it's beyond my own means dah utk mengemas sendiri =)

This design needs a lot of betel leaves...comprises of more than 100 pcs daun sireh =) (kena plak time ni daun sireh shortage of supply kena catu from 3 sireh shop to come up with this one) glad that Naza like the design very much 8D

Tqvm nanti untuk wedding boleh je if nak tempah with me lagi k walaupon next year I will no longer sepanjang masa reside in Johor  ^_^ because this is my hometown I need to come back once in a while hehe especially if the travelling charges is covered I'm more than happy untuk balik kampung selalu XD but for most of the time I have to be where my service is needed the most =)

Eventhough I'm in Johor now but confirmed order for KL & Selangor for February to June next year is more than order received from Johor, thank you so much uols yang dah confirm order really ease my worries whether my perpindahan semula ke KL is necessary *^_^* I will update my new address insyaallah by mid or end Jan 2011 k (owh Ritze Perdana II such a nice place to stay sebab boleh jalan kaki je pegi Ikea but if duduk situ surely gonna cause a big hole in my pocket ahaks)

Zuliyati requested for a grandeur sireh junjung, hence we include tuberose (bunga harum sundal malam) for extra sweet scent and and include 3 pcs of our very own handmade bunga pinang, kapur and gambir (see how our bunga kapur really jive as filler flower in there, at a glance it looks just like other white peacock used inside the gubahan =) that's how our design is very much special from other bunga pinang, bunga kapur and gambir that you can find in the market. Ours is gubahan tested and thus blends beautifully inside your sireh junjung ^O^ Other flowers used inside this gubahan beside the tuberose and white peacock are roses in ivory/cream, yellow peacok, white peacok, green pom pom mums and of course the betel leaves/sireh. And for your guys info, if you wanna diy your gubahan sireh junjung or gubahan using fresh flower we do sell them in bulk, for rose minimum 2 dozen @ RM 35 and please pre-order 1 week in advance. (^_~) something different this time...got beautiful peacock feather =)

with the peacock feather *tiba2x feeling Shakira's song...waka waka...it's time for Africa XD) muahaha...but the buzzing vuvuzela during every worldcup match is giving me the headache...haha sounds like a swamp of killer bees...

hurmmm German doesn't make it to the worldcup final =( eventhough with blue shorts Spain still win last nite's game hehe I guess the red shirt outshine the bad blue aura XD and Paul the Octopus survive another day takdelah jadik sotong bakar ke sotong goreng tepung ke XDDD (ke dah kena makan pon sebab sotong nih kan kat German muahaha) its prediction is correct again (isk2x menakutkan ada jin ke apa kat sotong nih) hehe as lalang as I'm always am Spain menang pon ai ok jek (^_~) diorang memang terer pon =) furthermore German doesn't look their best last nite...they look tired...it seems like they're playing with one player short...it might be different if Muller play last nite kot uhuks...okay for the final I'm in for Spain coz Oranje maen ganas uhuks (o.O)...furthermore Spain player is more good looking anyway (^_~) good football does in a way come hand in hand with good looks too XDDD...time worldcup tak rajin mengupdate blog nih jugak nampaknya w'pon tak tido XD...I'm officially a walking zombie today (o.O)

Gubahan Hantaran Lesson 101 - How High your Sireh Junjung Need to be???

Sireh Junjung is a beautiful arrangement of betel leaves and flower(s) complete with "ingredients" to eat the betel with i.e. Kapur, Gambir, Tembakau and Bunga Cengkih. Even in our modern days now, Gubahan Hantaran Sireh Junjung is still a must item inside any set of gubahan hantaran. It is considered as the "head" of the gubahan hantaran set. So it is very important for the Sireh Junjung to be beautiful, pleasing to the eye. 

However the design nowadays have evolve so Sireh Junjung does not need to be that sky high anymore.

haha this definitely cannot fit inside a car...and if it's this sky high you'll need to carry the Sireh Junjung on top of your head like the pics below!!!

A modern Sireh Junjung design emphasis more on the flower arrangement rather than the betel leaves so it looks more like a flower bouquet rather than the traditional "high rise" Sireh Junjung design.

However if your engagement or wedding is held around community that strongly adheres to adat tradisi warisan melayu, a modern design sireh junjung may not be highly regarded/appreciated and thus deem unsuitable, hence it is recommended to opt for the conventional upward "high rise" design. But no worries it doesn't need to be as sky high like the one in the old days XD

And eventhough the deco for gubahan hantaran from the bride side should look more beautiful and more attractive as compared to hantaran from the groom side, but according to tradition Sireh Junjung from the groom side must be higher than Sireh Junjung from the bride side. So in conclusion whatever design or height that you choose, sireh junjung given by the groom must always be higher than the sireh junjung received from the bride. Hope this infos can help you with selecting the design/height of your Sireh Junjung which importantly serves as the head of your gubahan hantaran set. Some of you might wonder what is the role of Tepak Sireh then if the Sireh Junjung is already considered as the head of your gubahan hantaran set. so u can rest assured the piccas of gubahan in this blog is as it is, tidak dishoot dengan lens2x yang complicated dan canggih2x ribu riban yang bleh buat sume benda nampak cantik tuh (imagine kalo gambo2x gubahan nih diambil dgn slr kamera yang besar bagak tuh fuhhh mesti menipu mata hik3x) so if uols think the gubahan is nice, in reality depan mata gubahan yang sebenar tuh memang lebih cantik dari gambar2x dalam blog nih (uhuks betapa kesian my camera dun even have a stabilizer ok T_T)

Sireh Junjung 2010 - Peach Blush

luckily Mieza is such a sport and leave it all to us to design the sireh junjung...so bolehlah adapt dengan keadaan semasa yang kegersangan daun sireh time tuh...actually dah lama tak guna fern leaves nih sebab biasanya memang tersangat mewah dengan daun sireh...about 100 pcs for one sireh junjung tapi sekarang kene catu about 120 pcs daun sireh untuk 3 sireh junjung erksss, 2 for Mieza and 1 for another customer pada hari yang sama...so kenalah tambah fern leaves sikit to make up for the empty spaces...

Mieza also order wedding cake and 50 pcs pretty cupcake thru us and we order from ChunkyBites...and sebab Mieza order through us dapatlah pinjam foc the cakestand+pisau panjang dari ChunkyBites untuk upacara potong cake...so if uols nak one stop order cake or cupcake from us pown boleh jek...so dapat kurangkan pening uols dealing kat banyak tempat...our recommended design is always keep it sweet and simple... KISS...

the rest of the gubahan picture tengah try nak retrieve dari mmc yang dah sengal...banyak bad sector so asyiklah kije hang sajo...the theme color is Peach from the groom and Purple from the bride...look out for the update soon k! (lately nih kene rajin update blog to keep the ads alive hak3x by May dah bleh cashout nih and set a new $ target...hehe kalo tak kerana hidden agenda nih rasanya tak serajin inilah kut...kene berusaha keras nih sebab banyak buffered earning yang "dianugerahkan" dies off begitu saje uhuks sbb traffic tak boost as required...btw this is good news for everyone jugak kan kalo tak sampai bersawanglah blog nih tak berupdate erkss)
